Private Motor Underwriter job with MW Appointments

MOTOR (PRIVATE CAR) UNDERWRITER – ESSEX £££

Leading Underwriting Agency based in Essex have a new role for a very experienced Motor Underwriter to deal with all Private Car risks.

Make pricing and underwriting recommendations with supporting analysis and documentation to the Underwriting Committee

Compile reports and provide commentary on key performance changes for the Monthly Underwriting Committee Meeting. Attend and present findings.

Develop and maintain relationships with key supporting brokers. Where agreed make face-to-face visits, ensuring continual liaison

Ensure that Private Motor rates are delivered to the market regularly and accurately via Software House systems, guides and internet. Also ensure internal rating engines are correct and up to date.

Work with all appropriate areas to maximise the potential in niche and scheme business development

Manage the Motor business, overseeing incoming new business risks and the training, guidance and development of Private Motor Team. Ensure that referrals are handled by the Private Motor Team up to their authority limits

Attend regular underwriting review meetings

Review and advise on claims matters.

Experience in the above is essential dealing with Private Motor Risks.
